Protecting your organisation from Cyber Crime

Offering nationally recognised guidance from the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) on how to protect your organisation, we will analyse case studies from investigations our unit have been involved in, and outline the steps which could have prevented those organisations from becoming victims. We will also discuss current and future threats, and explain how to defend against them.

Our advice is delivered in an easy to understand format and suitable for all business owners and senior leaders.

Sam is a Cyber Protect and Prepare Officer with the South West Regional Cyber Crime Unit (SWRCCU). The SWRCCU are a Police unit who tackle cyber crime affecting organisations based in the South West.

Sam’s role is to provide advice to SME’s on some of the simple, effective steps they can take to reduce the impact cyber crime can have on their business. This includes working with organisations to ensure that they are prepared for a cyber-attack.
