Transferring your place

If you have purchased a ticket and can no longer attend the event, no problem. We can transfer your place to a colleague or friend. Please let us know as soon as possible by emailing info@futuresync.co.uk. Re-sale of tickets is not permitted without our knowledge.

If for any reason you can’t attend and you can’t find someone to go in your place, no problem. Get in touch via info@futuresync.co.uk by June 1st and we will issue a refund. Requests for refund after this date may be delayed until after the event.

Photos and footage

We will be filming Future Sync for a live stream and recorded films which will be publicly available after the event. We will also have official photographers taking photographs. By registering you give us permission to use any images or footage taken of you on the day. If this is an issue, please let us know in advance by emailing info@futuresync.co.uk.

Social media

We reserve the right to reproduce quotes and feedback submitted in a public sphere, which will be fully credited.

Accessibility

Our conference venue is fully accessible to wheelchair users. If you have any requirements you think we should be aware of, please let us know in advance so that we can do our best to meet your personal needs. We aim to meet all access requirements. The more notice you give us, the better able we are to assist.

Programme

From time to time a speaker, workshop or exhibition may drop out of our conference programme as we’ve advertised. We reserve the right to substitute them for another awesome speaker, workshop or exhibition.

Privacy

We take your privacy very seriously and will not sell or share your personal information with sponsors or third parties. Sponsors may request to gather your details on the day of the conference. Your permission will be sought and the information will be gathered directly from you.

Liability

We will do our best to create a safe environment for you to enjoy the conference. We have taken reasonable steps to ensure you and your property remain safe. However, we will not be held liable for any loss, damage, costs or claims relating to your attendance of Future Sync or its connected events. Whilst be mindful of any risks is your responsibility, we will take all reasonable steps to assist you should something go wrong.

If you see, hear or experience anything of concern or risk to attendees on the day you should contact a member of the conference team, identifiable by branded Future Sync or Plymouth University t-shirts.

Code of Conduct

Every attendee, sponsor, delegate, exhibitor and speaker agrees to comply in full with our conference code of conduct.
