Transferring your place

If you have purchased a ticket and can no longer attend the event, no problem. We can transfer your place to a colleague or friend up until the Monday defore the conference. Please let us know as soon as possible . Re-sale of tickets is not permitted without our knowledge, but we likely won't have a problem if it is at face value or lower.

If for any reason you can’t attend and you'd like a refund, get in touch via . No fuss refunds will be accepted until a month before the event. After the 16th March, we'll process refunds on a case by case basis.

Photos and footage

We will be filming the entire Future Sync conference. Recorded talks will be publicly available after the event. We will also have official photographers taking photographs. By registering you give us permission to use any images or footage taken of you on the day. If this is an issue, please let us know in advance by emailing . If you don't want footage or photos containing you to be used, we will respect your wishes.

Social media

We reserve the right to reproduce quotes and feedback submitted in a public sphere, which will be fully credited.

Accessibility

Our conference venue is fully accessible to wheelchair users. If you have any requirements you think we should be aware of, please so that we can do our best to meet your personal needs. We aim to meet all access requirements. The more notice you give us, the better able we are to assist.

Programme

From time to time a speaker, workshop or exhibition may drop out of our conference programme as we’ve advertised. We reserve the right to substitute them for another awesome speaker, workshop or exhibition.

Privacy

We take your privacy very seriously and will not sell or share your personal information with sponsors or third parties. Sponsors may request to gather your details on the day of the conference. Your permission will be sought and the information will be gathered directly from you.

Liability

We will do our best to create a safe environment for you to enjoy the conference. We have taken reasonable steps to ensure you and your property remain safe. However, we will not be held liable for any loss, damage, costs or claims relating to your attendance of Future Sync or its connected events. Being mindful of any risks is your responsibility, we will take all reasonable steps to assist you should something go wrong.

If you see, hear or experience anything of concern or risk to attendees on the day you should contact a member of the conference team, identifiable by branded Future Sync or Plymouth University t-shirts.

No-fuss refund

In the event that conference is canceled, we will endeavor offer a full refund.

If you decide that you no longer wish to attend the event, we will offer you a full refund up until 14 days before the event is due to run. After this time and where possible, we will be happy to exhcange your ticket for one to another event we manage. We will also be happy to help find someone else to take your place.

Until the event has successfully run, all ticket monies are kept by the event platform (Eventbrite) to facilitate this. In the event that Eventbrite collapses, they withhold the funds or don't allow refunds, we may not be able to offer one to you. This is due to all financial transactions being managed by them.

Code of Conduct

Every attendee, sponsor, delegate, exhibitor and speaker agrees to comply in full with our conference code of conduct.
